To reach the top, one needs a strong foundation! Kindergarten through Second Grade students focus on the achievement of reading and math fluency.
First, they learn how to read.
Then, they read to learn.
Third through Fifth Grade students focus on active application of the acquired skills.
To maximize the learning experience of all students, elementary school teachers consider their students’ talents and periodically break down their classes into smaller groups and target specific needs.
Additional technology tools such as the Renaissance Star Assessments® and Accelerated Reading® program, provide the teachers with additional data and guidance to monitor and adjust the progress of each student.
